Young chemometrician award

Elsevier Company has instituted award for the best oral or poster presentation of a young scientist at WSC-6. This award consisted of a free paper subscription to Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems for the duration of one year.

The prize was adjudged by a panel of senior chemometricians to Kirill Blinov, from Advanced Chemistry Development (Moscow, Russia), author of the talk «Prediction of NMR Chemical Shifts. A Chemometrical Approach.».

Best student award

CAMO Software has instituted award to the best student at WSC-6 School (pre-courses). This award consisted of a free one year license of the Unscrambler software and the book Multivariate Data Analysis - In Practice, written by Kim H. Esbensen

The prize was adjudged to Alena Chulkova, Nataliya Shastova and Svetlana Morzhukhina from State university «Dubna».

Best poster presentation award

CAMO Software has instituted award for the best poster presentation at WSC-6.

This award had three degrees.

1. The first place prize — free one year license of the Unscrambler. software and the book Multivariate Data Analysis - In Practice, written by Kim H. Esbensen — was awarded to Nataliya Ryumina from Samara State Technical University.
2. The second place prize — free registration at the CAMO Training Courses and the book Multivariate Data Analysis - In Practice, written by Kim H. Esbensen — was adjuged to Jarno Kohonen from Lappeenranta University of Technology.
3. The third place prize, the book Multivariate Data Analysis - In Practice, written by Kim H. Esbensen, was presented to Elena Shabanova from Institute of Geochemistry SB RAS.

The prize was adjudged by the all participants voting.
